The Oldest, Filthiest Female Ukelele Player 🤟

Austin was frozen for a not so hot sec, but comedy went on! Venues such as Vulcan Gas Company and Creek and the Cave kept their doors open to let in comedy fans... and people who just wanted to stay warm. Here's what else happened this week.

She Said What?!

Joan Rivers called her The Filthy Ukelele Player. Here's the Guinness World Record holder, D'yon Forest of being the world's oldest female comedian doing what she does best on The Drew Barrymore Show. (She's 88.75 years old).

Anyone involved in the Austin comedy scene, the Comedy Store, Chicago improv scene, or a fan of Kill Tony knew and loved Michael Lehrer. Local Austin artist Chris Rogers painted this beautiful portrait of the late comedian recently and it was bid on at Vulcan a few weeks ago.
